Successful completion of an emerit Professional Certification program entitles the graduate to use their nationally recognized tourism sector professional designations in their business cards, résumés and other personal documents.

As a graduate of a frontline emerit Professional Certification program, an individual will achieve the Tourism Certified Professional (TCP) designation.

As a graduate of a supervisory emerit Professional Certification program, an individual will achieve the Tourism Certified Supervisor (TCS) designation.

As a graduate of a management emerit Professional Certification program, an individual will achieve the Tourism Certified Manager (TCM) designation.

emerit® National Occupational Standards represent the expertise of tourism sector professionals across Canada and are the most demanded occupational standards for more than 50 tourism and hospitality occupations. They are developed and maintained by the Canadian Tourism Human Resource Council (CTHRC) in consultation with key industry stakeholders from across Canada.
