OTEC delivers the training and development solutions you need, where you need them. Whether your team members are spread across the province or the country, your organization can benefit from OTEC’s award-winning training and development programs delivered through our innovative e-learning option.  

Some of our clients hire new employees continually over the course of the year, or find work schedules make coordinating training time challenging. OTEC’s e-learning program offers the same high-quality programs with online convenience and flexibility. E-learning with OTEC includes a variety of learning formats including web-based, e-classroom, webinars, and mobile communication.

OTEC will work with you to customize an e-learning program that suits the needs of your organization or can offer a suite of e-learning certification programs and human resource tools.

Web-based Learning

OTEC’s web-based learning approach is similar to our approach with classroom learning. We provide web-based activities with constructive feedback, clear navigation, and dynamic animation and graphics to enhance the learning experience, while remaining budget conscious. This learning format is ideal for organizations with multiple new hires over an extended period of time or for organizations where team members require the flexibility of self-paced learning.

e-classroom Learning

OTEC’s e-classroom learning experience combine the best design of classroom training with the technology of web-based learning. Facilitators join team members from across the province for activities and participants brainstorm using a virtual whiteboard, allowing team members to receive consistent facilitator-led training.  This learning approach maximizes time with a facilitator and minimizes travel costs, making it ideal for organizations where team members are spread out geographically or are located in remote areas. 

Webinars

Webinars delivered by OTEC combine the dynamics of an engaging presentation or demonstration with the technology of web-based learning. Team members are able to learn together, receiving consistent messages at the same time, without incurring travel costs. This learning format is ideal for medium to large organizations with geographical barriers to in-person learning opportunities.

Mobile Learning

This relatively new learning format is an innovative option for organizations with on-the-go team members unable to attend training sessions or reach a computer consistently. OTEC’s mobile learning option is similar to web-based learning strategies, with engaging and dynamic applications, but relies on the technological advances of smartphones, including the Blackberry and iphone. Mobile learning programs are a convenient choice for organizations seeking to ensure compliance training completion.
