January O-News: Tourism SkillsNet Ontario’s Workforce Network

1/23/2019

Since OTEC introduced the Tourism SkillsNet Ontario in October 2018 to help create strategies and find solutions to solve evolving labour shortages across Ontario’s hospitality industry, much has happened. Bringing the industry and stakeholders together in 10 regions of Ontario to collaborate and focus on industry led solutions has created many positive outcomes to date.

To find out more about Tourism Skillsnet Ontario and how your community organization can participate, please contact Adam Morrison at amorrison@otec.org or Melwyn Dcosta at mdcosta@otec.org.

Our experience working with OTEC was a thoroughly enjoyable one. We were tremendously impressed by the professionalism of their approach and the quality of their work. American Express approached OTEC to develop a service training program for its partners in the restaurant industry... OTEC took the time and effort to research the needs of our audience and consulted with us every step of the way to produce an end product that we were proud to have our company name associated with.;
